Have access to Patagonia´s world-class fly fishing all to yourself and enjoy fishing at your own pace. The estancia has private access to 22 miles (35 kms) of río Collón Cura, one of the best fly fishing rivers of patagonia and the world.
We have a combination of asphalt and good gravel roads that makes it very easy to drive from the main house to the river and backwards. We can easily float or wade the river and its side channels.
The river has great fishing during all seasons, and two unique fly fishing moments, the «willow worm» season in December and January, and the «minnow migration» in February and March.
While fishing from Estancia Collon Cura you can easily float and wade the main river, or fish the side channels. You can have lunch at the river banks, or go back to the main house for a nice lunch and a “siesta” before going back to fish. You can choose the type of fishing you like to do, dry flies, nymphs or streamers. If you are an expert fly fisherman or just starting, you will enjoy Collon Cura to the fullest.
